I'm on a mission to help people be seen — genuinely seen for who they are in any given moment — and to help them realize that they are enough, just as they are.
I'm working to change the way leaders work with people: teaching them the spectrums of human performance, and how to adapt their leadership to help their people succeed. I combine an engineer's systems thinking with advanced training in integrative psychology and behavioral analysis — and I build the software that puts it to work.
"Reality isn't fact. Reality isn't real. Reality is what you make it. Make it a great day!"
For years, psychometric assessments have been used to classify people and put them in a box — sorting the "good" profiles from the "bad," locking people into one category or another. I believe that's backwards.
Given the right environment and leadership, any personality has the potential to be successful. Our personality isn't fixed or locked in. Our experiences shape who we are, what we value, and how we show up. Every day gives us new opportunities to learn, change, evolve, and grow — and our personality shifts as we grow and as we change environments.
The most successful leaders learn not to categorize people, but to see people where they are — in each moment — and adapt their leadership to what that person needs and values to maximize their potential.
Alex Aanderud — world-renowned leadership, communication and human behavior expert — has been brought in by some of the top coaching companies, organizations, and teams around the world to train their people on new and innovative perspectives of human performance, leadership, and communication.
Alex combines his background as an engineer supporting experimental flight test for Boeing and the US Military with advanced certifications in integrative psychology and behavioral analysis — applying systems thinking and analytics to the human capital of organizations. Using psychometric assessments to improve team dynamics, retention, integrative leadership, and profitability, Alex has helped teams and organizations create massive growth, increased retention, productivity, and engagement.
His mission: to create a world where leaders promote authenticity by adapting their communication and leadership to the needs of their people — cultivating the highest potential for success.
A rare combination of technical rigor and deep human-behavior expertise.
